Off-Water Engagements 2008 & 2009:

Participated in a Customer Appreciation Event for
The Tackle Box, a small but very successful fishing supply outlet in Apex,
North Carolina. This was an
all-day event wherein I helped staff a booth with colleagues promoting
sponsored products, discussing techniques and presentations, performing
demonstrations, doing photo ops on-board our boats parked at the site with
the youth and lastly awarding door and raffle prizes.
o
Participated in a Charity Event for Harvest Food
Bank, South Carolina via the Rusty White Foundation, wherein a final
donation of over $500.00 of food was delivered to the food bank.
o
Developed, Organized and Facilitated a Family
Fishing Day with North Carolina Parks and Recreation officials that was
successfully attended by over 30 youth and adults in Holly Spring, North
Carolina. The event is already
planned for a second season in April of 2010.
o
Participated in a Customer Appreciation Event for
CA-Fishing Supplies in Smithfield, North Carolina wherein I helped staff a
booth with colleagues promoting sponsored products, assisted in sales of
product, discussed techniques and presentations and performed
demonstrations.
